Welcome to the Online Resources website of the National Coal Mining Museum for England library.
The library has a reference collection of material covering all areas of Coal mining from technical, social, economic and political through to artistic, literary and geographical aspects of the industry and its communities.
To increase access to the collection, Coal, the National Coal Boards' magazine is the first resource to be digitised by the Museum. Magazines covering a period from 1947 to mid-1960, have been scanned and made available on this website.
